G A Precision M40A1 style (not a clone) rifle.
The rifle is in 308 Win, sports a 24 inch Mike Rock barrel. Stock is HTR forest camo McMillan with sniper fill. Floorplate is Win model 70 style modified to fit the Rem 700 action. Sling swivels are Witchita style. I placed a TRGT manual (from my M1A) several 308 rounds, a sand sock and my Casio Cassiopea in the picture also. The sling is from Mike Miller, Tactical Intervention. The case is one of the Starlights. The rifle is finished on O.D. teflon, Badger Base included as O. D. Teflon. The next PGM 338 Lapua. It is the prototype and shot a 3 shot
group the size of a glas at 1100 yards during the first Swiss 1000 shooting
competition in ELM in July 2000. Behind the rifle is the maker Mr
GONNET - the G of PGM.

Very accurate, sustained automatic fire is possible with the use of this optic. Very robust and uses Picket-type post with stadia line for basic range estimation. Weapon is the Accuracy International AWP in .338 Lapua Magnum and 7.62x51mm (designated L96). Closeup of the action and optics system. Of note is the use of cloth tape to camoflauge the rifles. The barrel is wrapped, but independently of the stock. The tape is then painted to match the environment. The light teal green color looks bright in the photographs, but in real life it matched the sagebrush in the desert very well. |

As left. The weapon along with the Royal Marines' standard infantry weapon and some of their kit. The assault rifle is a 5.56mm, bullpup rifle that fires in semi and full auto modes. It is English-designed and feels clunky compared to our M16A2. |
