A little over a month and a half ago Josh Wilson from IWI graciously sent me a set of their night sights for review. I originally heard of IWI when they where located in Albuquerque, New Mexico about ten or so years ago. They have since moved on and are now in Fort Worth, Texas. It's taken this long to write this as I wanted to have a "few" rounds through my Glock 22 (.40 S&W) to give these sights a short term workout. So now having put these sights through about 500 rounds of 180 gr. TMJ I think I can give about as fair an evaluation as I can. If you need/want night sights THESE are THE sights for you! Hey, have I ever steered you wrong?

These are well made sights, competitive in price and with a bit of surfing actually less expensive than other night sights. They not only make night sights for handguns but also shotguns, rifles including the MP/HK family and 37 mm gas guns. There are just so many different combinations of dots, bars and bars/dots that the only way to decide what you want/need is to visit their website. Here you will also find the numerous color combinations that can also be had. The sights are milled from steel bar stock and use the highest-grade tritium that, along with a 15 year guarantee, make these the best on the market.

Installation, well having a Glock I thought - blast I'm going to have to find someone with a Glock sight tool to install these sights. Well I had, but when they arrived I found very short concise instructions on how to install them on the Glock without that $200.00 sight tool! As always installation should be done by a competent gunsmith, but if you are into do-it-yourself you can.

Read the instructions that come with the sights CAREFULLY! The set I have are the red rear dots, green front dot and this color combo provides a VERY rapid and easy alignment of the sights. Colors are bright and clear in low light to dark conditions. As long as I could identify my target I could bring the sights on target. After 500 rds there has not been the slightest hint of movement of the dots within the sights or of the sights themselves.

This is a SOLID installation and night sight!
