You have hopefully noticed that Sniper Country is not a commercial site, despite us selling some gear - and we take GREAT pride in this fact.  We are unanimous in the feeling that we don't want you, our visitors, to get the impression that any product or school reviews we do are written under the influence of being "beholding" to someone who is sponsoring this site.  The other side of that coin, however, is that we -- the Sniper Country Council -- pay for the maintenance of this site out of our own pockets.  However, if you decide to buy one or more of the books listed on this page, we want you to know that every penny of the SMALL amount of money that Amazon.com pays us goes toward making this site better.  We're not asking for a handout, but merely letting you know that you're genuinely helping us out whenever you buy one of these books.  So if you see something you like, don't hesitate to whip out your plastic and make a purchase.  Despite the fact that some books (like Out-Of-Print (OOP) and Out-Of-Stock (OOS) books - sometimes both available in second-hand form) will, however, not generate benefit for Sniper Country, we still list them, as we have tried to list those books that you're likely to be interested in.  Unfortunately, as you will understand, we at Sniper Country have not been able to read all the books listed - where we have reviews on books, we indicate such.  As such, we cannot guarantee the content of these books, but hope that you will find what you like.  If you do not, do not hesitate to inform us, and we will see if it is, indeed, available via Amazon.com.

One more thing:  Sometimes a book will appear more than once, on consecutive lines - this is not an error, but merely multiple listings of the book by Amazon, sometimes in different bindings or editions.

Amazon has added a new feature to their site.  Based on the purchases of people buying via Sniper Country they are now setting up recommendations.  These will change and update every time the page is loaded - so no two should be the same.  The following is a link to this - I have chosen the option that gives the maximum number of recommendations.  In order for this to work you have to have scripting enabled on your browser.
